See my other post for the windsplitter - great upgrade if you're 6' or under. PM me if the geography is right maybe I can work out a way to let you try it - I'm too tall

+1 for the Long Ride Shields. I'm 5'10", got the 8" med tint recurve, works well and I can see over the top of it. Not the cheapest I found, but thicker that some of the $38 eBay specials I have seen. They ship fast as well, ordered it late Sunday night, they shipped it on Monday.

I'm 5' 11" and have a 8.5" Klock Werks dark smoked. I can see over it fine and stopped almost all the buffeting.

I'm 6'2'' and just put a 6'' from drag specialties on , it is a light tint , wish it was as dark as the stock shield . Makes a huge difference , wind just hits the top of the head ,no big deal. I can't see wanting something that you would actually look through. 08 sg.

i'm 6'4" tall and i'm using the 10" long ride shield in medium gray tint. it works great for me. i'd suggest marking a paint stick like you'd get at lowes or home depot in their paint department with a sharpee or magic marker in 1/2" increments, and tape it to your existing windshield and go for a short ride around the neighborhood. this will give you an indication as to how tall you want your shield to be. i like looking over the top of the shield by about 2". it's a trick i discovered by just tinkering around in my shop one day and saw some ductape sitting there with a paint stick laying across it along with a sharpee, and said, hmm, i bet that'd work for figuring out the right height for a windshield.

5'10" use a Long Ride Shields Ultra flip. Ordered a 8" but trimmed it down to a 7". I use the stock seat from a 2008 Road Glide.
