Rain and now lights...
Last Sunday i went out on a ride and ended up in a downpour. Like hard to see where riding, cars pulled off to the side of the road.
Everything went well after that though, rode another 3 hours without issue.
This evening i decided to go for a little run around town. Bike started fine, i moved it out of the garage and left it running while going back to close the door.
Upon leaving maybe within 1 km i noticed the green neutral light had come on along with the security light. I figured i'd turn it off and restart so pulled into a parking lot. Tried and no start. No cranking, so I figured the key fob was causing it because after turning key on the security light would come on. Tried doing the key on within 2 seconds hold the signal light buttons and never would it allow me to enter my code. Just turned on the four ways.
Finally i discovered if i held the clutch in it would fire up. Upon leaving the lights went out, then shifting through the gears the neutral light started lighting up but very dim, once in a while it would go out then come back. Red key light stayed off then came on within 2km of getting home. Neutral light won't turn off now.
Also the horn is bearly making a noise when i hit the button.
To me this is maybe a ground issue, could the neutral switch be shorted and causing all this hassle?
Bike is a 2010 Street Glide, has PCV, air cleaner and pipes installed.
Figure tomorrow i'll have a quick look over it and if nothing is lose i'll bring it in to the dealer as there is warrenty but that means i lose my new bike for a few days i bet.
Thanks for opinions or experiences!
