I used to do that but now plug my ipod stick in the aux plug, and now have 2 days of music instead of 6-7 hours. I also keeps them in the saddle bag in case the ipod battery dies. :-)

sony mp3 walkman, 16g, small, light weight, aint gotta cary frigg'n discs! ran aux wire thru fairing & out the cluth cable hole up to a ******* mp3 clip mounted next to clutch perch. i can ride for a week and not hear the same song if i choose too. or watch a movie on it when i get to my destination, or many other things, fm radio, pictures, documents etc. Battery life lasts for days, no kidding, it charges quickly or i can charge it on the road too, and i can organize the music how ever i choose. plays ALL popular formats as well including itunes. i have a smartphone i could use to do the same and more, but thats my phone. id rather not use it.
