I'm doing the swapout right now, and am wondering about the stock manifold gaskets - the oem header has tapered seats and the FM doesn't.
Is this simply a 'crush fit'? As it is, the only way to install the FM will be a butt joint fit, and is sure don't look right to me...
You're probably done by now but if the stock manifold gaskets are in good shape, leave them in and bolt up the head pipe. The head pipe is designed to use the stock tapered gaskets according to the documentation I got with mine so that is what I used.
Put the FM stainless header pipes on my 11 Limited a while back and a HIgh flow SE air kit alone with a Thunder-Max and a pair of supertrapp stout mufflers.
I am thinking about the same exhaust combo...what are your impressions of that header and muffler combo?

Runs real good.
Also got a buddy down the street that got the Jackpot stainless header pipe with the Fuel Moto's new 4" jackpot mufflers that he really likes.
Hi mate,
Sent them an email enquiry on Sunday asking if they ship and the cost, but heard nothing so figure they dont.
No idea why but some buisnesses in the US just dont ship to the UK.
I think the extension that was mentioned in previous posts was only needed if you were installing the system on a 2010 SG or RGC which came stock with a 2-1 exhaust.

2010 Limited, put the Fuel Moto head pipe, jackpots, PC V and air cleaner on at 1K. Very easy, used existing exhaust gaskets and stock heat shields work perfect.
Work even better if you tighten them up all the way before getting overly anxious to take the bike around the block to see how it runs and sounds. They rattle less when tight...
