Does anyone know the length of stock throttle, idle and clutch cables? Also the length of the front brake lines? My son is wanting to put 14" apes on his Road King.
I'm pretty sure I understand your question and it doesn't have anything to do with any other person's likes or dislikes concerning your son's bike.
I put Wild One 10" apes on my Road King Classic. Love 'em. The ride is way comfortable, plus I like the looks. I extended the wiring by about 7" and stuffed it through the Chubby handlebars. You gotta love that soldering. (Don't forget to stagger the solders, if he does this.) On the advice of Wild One, I used +4 throttle, idle & brake. The clutch is +3. I could have lost 1 inch on all of those measurements and the lengths would have been perfect. Barnett cable and Goodridge hose - all matching.
