5th gear whine
So I noticed in the latest edition of "American Iron Motorcycle Bagger" magazine that Baker has come up with a fix for the notorious 5th gear whine in late model bikes. It looked fairly complicated and no price was quoted, still if I won the lottery.......I'll just have to live with the Redline solution.Craig
Yup! All factory 6 speeds from 2007 - 09. HD redesigned 5th gear to helical cut in 2010. Most likely because of all the complaints. It only took em 3 years to hear us!

In my opinion, it simply took them 3 years to run out of their stock of straight cut gears. I have no reason to think that they do anything just to make us happier. Just saying.
