Just checked with the dealer. Because I bought the bike in August '07, he can't cover it under warranty. Also, when I opened the fairing up this morning to replace the speaker brackets I looked at the vertical brackets and found that they are cracked also. So now I'm going to have to replace them too. So I'm sort of back t0 my original question - Since I'm not noticing any fairing vibration, is this something that has to be done urgently or can I wait until riding season is done?? Thanks for the help everyone.
Replace as soon as possible because one of the down sides to not fixing the bracket(s) is you put added stress on the Radio and the extra vibration shortens the radios life. Don't ask me how I know...
