Default New driving lights. They work.

Put them on just to be seen. Wasn't anfan of the stock bulky mounts from Harley so I opted for the kuryakyn that mount like stock flhx signals.

Go ahead with the china junk but look at the hd ones and where they're made. Not in USA. So it really isn't a matter of that. If hd lights were made here I'd have bought them.

I'll post up pics later. But they look great keep the SG lines. Nice and clean. And most of all. I'm seen better.

Got high beams flashed at me 3 times this morning. And I didn't install the HID kit yet.

I think lights more than loud pipes will get you noticed.

Post some pics. I am wanting to put driving lights on my 09 SG, but am on the fence about what to use.

Here's a great shot of my bike in a buddy's tiny rear view mirror. I use Moto-Lights, Sylvania Silverstars in the headlamp and Custom Dynamics LED signal lights. Another friend says it looks like a 747 coming in from behind...
I get seen pretty well.

I had the kuryakyn ones on my 08 SG before it got totaled. I went with the H-D ones on my 09 SG. I wasn't a big fan of the little kury ones. Now I'm not a fan of kury at all.

I wasn't a fan of kury either. But I'll tell ya. I replace the rear turn signal visor covers with the deep bezel covers that match the new driving lights. And what a difference in quality. The HD ones I had to be careful when cleaning if I pushed to hard they fell off. And spun easy so I was constantly turning them back up. These kury ones are twice the weight and it was a chore to put them in. I won't worry about losing these on the highway.

I'll be sure to post up pics. In the last week I added.

+2 sweepers
PM renthal grips
Driving lights
Chrome fairing mount mirrors with led turn signals
Rear turn signal covers.

Waiting on my 18" sg wheel now should be here soon and already bought the E3 for it.

Bigdaddy.....I am definitely going to go with the Custom Dynamics led's in the front, had them on my last bike and WOW are they brighter than the stock ones.
Where did you purchase your Syvania Silverstats at? Do they just replace the stock bulbs with no problems?
I was looking at the Headwinds driving/turn signal combo or the Kuryakyn's.....miss that extra light from the 3 lights I had on my '00 RKC.

I don't think there is a better mod for safety than the addition of extra lights up front. I have the HD fog lights on the crash bar and they are fantastic for making you visible and the extra light at night is great. I never have anyone pull out in front of me anymore. The air horn no longer gets used. I'd give up my pipes any day before I'd turn the lights off.

I got the Silverstars from Auto Zone. I also forgot that I changed them out to the PIA 70476 Anti Vibration bulbs. They have a purpleish tint and give me 3 different colors up front. I think it makes me more visable plus they are great at night. You can get a 2 pack for Road Glides or buy them single, about 30 each or 50 for the two pack online. Plug and play no special wiring or anything.
