If it is stillunder warranty you will need to take it in and get the radio replaced. Mine went out and I could flip the speaker switch back and forth until it the sound came back on. Everything else worked as advertised. A new radion took care of the problem.

This sounds like a pretty good deal considering that the sound loss is an intermintent problem and the dealer techs may not be able to reproduce the problem.
Mine has been doing this for some time.On my third radio and cant remember if the other 2 did it.
