I remember the manager at Batteries Plus telling me that East Penn was the parent of Deka.

Is there some reason Harley won't warranty the battery. My sons WG battery went bad at 26 months and the dealer still gave him a new one at no charge.

I live in the phoenix area & I've never had a problem with batteries going dead prematurely.

It's just a lot easier for me to go to the HD dealer and get the battery then back home. Usually after yo pay shipping, it end s up pretty close and if I have a problem, I just go back to the dealer and they make things right. For a few bucks difference, I'll support the dealer.

battery warranty

The dealer I worked for wouldn't warranty batteries because you have no idea how many people come in with a 2 year old battery from a bike with no miles on it that was not on a charger that they feel should be covered under warranty.
