cam question
Most here that post about cam chain tensioner wear, etc. always say "go to gear and forget about it." I am not looking for anymore power, nor would I care for a 95" build, but would take the extra umphfff when riding two up. I am also really not worried about it right now, but when the time comes that my cam chest needs to be cracked open because of the tension shoes are in need of replacement I would probably consider adding gear drive. My question is with the switch to different cams do you need to remap? I currently run the Fuelpak now so I would have to switch if I needed to remap because it doesn't allow for further upgrades.

If you just swap to a mild bolt in cam set, you most likely won't "need" to remap. However, you bike will most likely run better if you do.
I put 26G's in my 88'. I just had the SE Stage I download. The bike ran great. I did not have to put on a fuel adder (DFO is what I chose) until I swapped on a set of True Duals.
