Hi everyone. I have purchased a ram mount for my iPhone so that I can listen to Pandora and use the MotionX gps while riding. It works well except that when I plug in the belkin charger, i get static interference on the audio output of the iPhone. Any ideas why this might be happening and if so, is there a fix? Thanks.

Get a new cable, make sure you get a good one!

 

Get an electronic device known as a "Ground Loop Isolator" from Radio Shack or equivalent. You should also try and route the wire as far away from any and all other wires and bundles as possible.
