Default Vented Windshields

How are the vented windshield on the Ulra Classic's working for you guys with them? I sometime thing I want one on my Ultra Classic windshield, especially this past summer.

I notice that dchoran has a windshield vent on his '05 Ultra Classic. That looks cooler just looking at the picture.

Does someone sell the windshield with the vent alread mounted?

Clearview Shields of Bailey, CO. has an offering for a vented windshield for Roadglides.......bet they'll have one for FLH models. I can vouch for their quality and customer service.

Vent is already installed - crystal clear windshield even after a year and many many cleanings with blue windex - kinda pricey but well worth it IMHO!!!

I've got a Clearview. Very good shield and the vent helps on the hot days.

Helps with heat.. but bugs come thru very accelerated.. I was afraid to yawn, everytime I did I got a little protein.. Probably depends on where you ride with it

I have a vent just under the windshield that attracted bugs also on my Valkyrie I/S.Took a small piece of the foam in it.It let air go through without the bugs.......JerryB.

Great idea.. I mentally played with the idea of a very fine nylon screen, but never got around to it
