P/N Painted Inner Fairing
Stopped in the dealership today and they have a vivid black inner fairing on the closeout table. Was ordered and never picked up. It was marked down to $300. I have an 08 streetglide. Tag marked on the box 08 up FLH p/n 58546-08 dh. I can't find that part number to see if it will work. Is it possible they changed the part number? Took it out of the box, theres no hole for the throttle cable so its for an 08 and up. The only difference I can see is there is no holes for the mirror studs. How hard do you think it will be to line up and drill the holes? Will the paint chip or do you think you will see any of the edge where you drill?

58546-06DH is listed in the '07 P&A book as the inner fairing in vivid black for '04 and later EG and FLHX. The fairing cap is separately listed as 58545-06DH. HD now lists the inner fairing and cap as a single p/n with paint code.
You can safely drill the holes without chipping paint; use painter's tape on the painted surface as HD instructs when drilling tour pak lid for luggage rack.

Sounds like pretty good deal make sure it has cap to go with it,making hole for mirrors is easy if you can find a template that will help.You might want to paint those mirror too.
