what should I be paying for vivid black paint jobon inner fairingand cap? been getting quotes at about 350.00 from local bike shops. haven't tried local body shops which scares me a bit. at that price i'd probably be better off selling cap and fairing on ebay and buying new from dealer. opinions appreciated, thanks in advance.
You may end up saving only a few bucks. I would just buy one from the dealer or ebay. It ran me $399 color matched from HD then $119 more for the cap. Hope it helps.
Just got my RG inner fairing & speedo/tach pod done $150. There's a lot more to the inner fairing of a RG than an EG, so I'd say that $350 is definately on the HIGH side.
$350.00 R U nuts????? Do it yourself!!!!! I did mine last year, turned out great. You can buy a gun for $80.00 at home depot. I painted my beer box lights at the same time.
