'08 FLH wouldn't start after fill up. Fuel pump stayed on and the bike would not fire. Went and had the ecm checked and Harley could not get a reading. After unhooking all ports and reconnecting, the bike started. Any idea what could have caused this?
Was later told by dealer, not to go on long rides till they could try to figure out what was wrong..

Bad connection/corrosion on one of the connectors? Take the connectors off again and inspect for corrosion. Spray with circuit board cleaner and use a toothbrush to scrub the contacts. Then put that conductive jelly on both ends of each connector and reconnect.
Could be just a glitch. Happens all the time in electronic stuff. A lot of times you just have to power down then restart Ever have a problem with your computer so you turn it of and reboot? Usually comes back on and works fine.
Did it show any codes when the dealer was working on it?
