I agree, it looks good. I was showing it to my wife last night on the Hells Foundry webpage and she didn't like it. Thought the painted inner fairing looked better. Still on the fence hear with what to do, though it's not on the priority list.
Soft dash looks interesting, would have to see on in person to decide..
Main question is long term wear - Its says (10 year) warranty?? We have all seen what the sun can and will do to a padded dash in a car - In time this dash will either be great or fade away to the cracked and warpped pile???
Allow me to answer the questions as they appeared. If you have others, please either PM me or post a reply.

A: It's VERY hard to communicate the texture and high-quality appearance using either print or screen. Your local Drag rep will be receiving a SoftDash sample kit to take to local dealers. Please tell your dealer that you're interested in seeing that sample. I think you'll be impressed. The sample packs are of all three colors so you get a true idea of how it'll look, feel and function on your bike.

A: TPO, that material SoftDash is made of is used in many industries and applications. It is very common in roofing, where weather plays an important role. When we sent for weather / durability testing at 3M they concluded we could warranty it indefinitely. How long is your painters warranty? We felt 10 years was 10 years longer than the OEM warranty. It will not fade/crack/peel. The automotive dashboards of the 70's-80's have been replaced with far superior surface technology. A tremendous amout of R&D is spent by auto manufacturers to create faux finishes that convince most of the senses (the only thing we're missing is the "leather" aroma).
As far as the material fading and cracking, to me that's all about maintainence. There are plenty of wipe on protectents out there. If you take care of it, it will last.
