Ive had the new to me EGS for 2 weeks today. After tons of reading and research I have made my list of round 1 mods.
21/18 wheel package
2" pullback handlebars
4pt removable passenger backrest/rack
Chrome front end
Fishtails
Misc chrome goodies
Cruise control
Thats $4300 worth, Im still looking to trim the cost down if I can. Its the little things that make the bill go up. The pullback bars are on sale for $67, its another $111 for the wiring extensions and +2 clutch cable.
If I can find a 21 wheel that will flow with the rear wheel I will get the rear stocker polished, cant see it anyway.
Ive got some ebay bids going now, thats saving a little cash.
I just put the 2" pullbacks yesterday and found that I did not have to change any cables. The clutch cable is a little taught but only when I turn the handlebars clear to the right side stop. I really like the new bars, I can lean on the backrest with both hands comfortably on the grips, which I was unable to do before.
The cruise control will be worth every penny you spend, lovin the cruise.
