The guy on this sight that put the 09 wheel and axle on the older bike about a month or so ago so we can find out what exactly he used.
I can't find it in the archives.
I believe he bought the wheel from someone on this sight also because he was thanking them for the axle.
There are a couple of people trying to put newer wheels on there older bikes here.
I put one on my bike making all new spacers but not every one can do that.

Thanks for your info that is a third person that's done that conversion, so now (we) know that the newer wheels will work on the older bike if (we) use all 2009 parts, 2010 parts, or you can use 1" bearings if you make your on spacers.
