use silicon, petroleum based spray can destroy the rubber, and it lasts longer.

Sound like a recent problem with my 03 FLTR. If I pressed on the heat shield it would be quieter. Turn out the header support bracket was cracked. Right under the trans on the right side. Take a close look with a flash light.

$19 part but a serious pain to change.

A shot of silicone spray every oil change will quiet your squeaks.

I couldn't hear mine if they did squeak. In short, get a louder exhaust and problem solved!!! As they simply isolate the motor vibration they are prone to wearing out and not much of an issue to replace. Never tried any lubricant but again, I can't hear anything except the exhaust....

Picked up a couple tuesday. Might put them on tonight before my midnite run.

I guess the 2011's have a longer rubber grommet. I saw it in the press kit. I'm wondering if they'll retrofit? Might cure our problem?

I think @ $2.00, I'm gonna stop at the stealer and pick-up a set. These have 55K on them, so I think $4 ain't too bad. Some good info on here, thanks.
