Default Console trim piece

Does this joker just pop off somehow? I know that two nuts hold it in place, but I can't get to it.... Posted in the Gen forum, maybe nobody there has a Road King?!?!?
How do you get this off?????

Cool

Thx Capt, I'll give it a try.

If your talking about the bullseye thing, if I remember right, the black cap with the HD emblem pops off and there is a screw under it.

Like chipishere said, The cap pops off. I have an electonic tool that looks like a dental tool that allows me to pry the cap off. The screw head lies under it. Good luck.

Thumbs up Thanks Guys!!!

I ended up "sacrificing" an old leather glove. I cut the palm out of it and placed it over the "ring". Then used channel locksand slowly worked it until I could spin it off by hand. I'll see if I can pop the center cap out of it tomorrow, enough mental stress for tonight!!!!
Now it looks like the tank is next!!!

Thanks for the help guys!! No damaged parts that have to be replaced!!

This forum is the greatest!!!
