When I first got the Heritage in my avatar. I thought it was a chick color. (bought it from a friend dirt cheap) When I finished doing my thing to it, I no longer thought it as quite a chick color.
I like the purple and black 2011's and am looking at a 2010 painted that way. I drove a purple camaro(wifes)for 15 yrs and don't think I ever heard a smart *** comment about it. Most guys that make comments about bikes being chick bikes, are most likely jealous that some chicks might ride them in the ground. You have to be comfortable in your skin and what you like and let everyone else FOCUS.
(F*** OFF CAUSE YOUR STUPID)
"5 posts and this is one of them?
Stop posing and go out and ride.
This is after all the Touring bike section of the forum."
geez inverse thought i could make a few friends here... & make a few people laugh!!! sorry for not such a serious post on my 5th one, just sparking a convo. i will try better on the next.
I like that Heritage torquoise and off white bike and if HD did it in the Ultra I might just have to......nah, red is my favorite but if the wife wanted one. . . .
a friend of mine has the ultra in those colors. a 2008 model if i'm not mistaken.
and i gotta admit, at first i thought that black ice color was the most god-awful ugliest color ever. but i know someone who has one in a dyna (and it just happens to be a chick), but i have to admit that color is growing on me.
You can put a label on anything (chick, dude, dork, etc.), but why worry about it??? Buy/ride whatever gives you enjoyment - who cares about color options. Aren't we taught as kids to not discriminate by race, COLOR, or creed??
I hate to admit that I AM racist. When I see you in my rear-view mirror still sitting at the stop light...well...I'm better than you!
