Do you have this dipstick? How do you like it? Looks like a quality item. I've been wishing H-D made one like this. They've made one for other models with the oil tank on the side (analog guage) for years but not Touring bikes.
I also have one of these. Definitely it looks as a high quality product and works flawlessly.
Thanks for the response. How are the readings? What model bike do you have? Wondering what readings you get at the oil dipstick on the newer Touring models.
How long have you had it? Is it waterproof when washing the bike/rain, etc (no fogging)?
I assume it's a mechanical guage (gives a reading when motor is turned off)?

As long as you have both the temperature dipstick and the dash oil temp gauge, how close do these two read for temp. Interested to know if you get the same reading during a ride
I bought one because I have the rinehart extreme true duals and the rear header limits access to the oil dipstick. Makes it a lot easer to check oil when hot.
I had the H-D digital dipstick on my '05 EGC. It was OK but fogged up after a wash for a couple days each time I washed it.
I think the problem with the H-D digital is the location of the exhaust header being so close that the electronics just can't stand up to the extreme heat. I had true duals on my '05 EGC so my digital thermometer actually worked for quite awhile. I think it had to due with the header not being 3" from the electronics with my true duals. Just a theory of mine, but i wonder if that's the issue.

I nevered measured but, I'm sure I don't have 3' from my LCD dipstick & the Rinehart TD's & no problems but, after reading these replies, my good one may be the fluke!?!
