Default Screaming Eagle Ventilator A/C

Looking at options for breather for my RKC. I had the standard Stage I A/C on my last bike, liked it, but want to go a different direction on the Road Glide. Never liked the "snorkel" look of the heavy breather. I know they use the Ventilator on the CVO Touring bikes, and like the looks of it. I've had one person send me a pretty bad review on the unit, so I thought I'd see what experiences others have had with it. I like the idea of a little more leg room, but am concerned about the performance of the unit.

Minimally less airflow than the Heavy Breather - like less than 2 cfm kinda minimal. You'd never notice the difference if all you're doing is a Stage 1. I'm not even sure you'd notice the difference if you went with cams and a 103.

Not just a LITTLE more leg room - a LOT more.

I really like the Ventilator. Gives me extra room for my right leg, and it looks good too.

I love mine. Not sure how you one could give it a bad review. It's an air cleaner, I mean come on, what was expected?

I'm also on a '10 CVO SG. Dyno tuned and all, and I've got no problems with the engine suffocating. And lots of leg room.

I did see some dynos somewhere comparing it to a heavy breather on a very large CID bike. I know it was at least a 117. Anyways, like someone above posted, the difference was minimal. The ventilator will flow plenty of air for up to at least a 110CID build. Zero issues with legroom and it looks pretty good too....

Check out the K&N kit for Harleys. It has the same size air filter as the ventilator and it uses the stock cover. I have it and it works great.

if you like the looks, then that the one for you.
it'll flow enough for that motor.

If you are cheap ( like me) look at the ness kit- $115 shipped from easternpc on ebay.
clean tidy install---that is for the chrome backing plate, which is easier to wipe clean that the grey or black kits.
