You shouldn't rely on a sticker for identification. They have correctly identified and described the bike in their ad and it is really not misrepresented.
But negotiation is always a good thing.
Exactly what got me here in the 1st place. Just looking out for a friend and I knew I could count on you guys.
That little "PI" sticker on each bag has my guy thinking he's getting a deal and the staff is letting him think it.
The link you supplied contains a general description of the 2003 Electra Glide Standard which could have either the carb or the fuel injection. The description does not specify which this bike has. The description contains nothing to identify it as a police bike. It does not have police bike saddlebags. It may have been used by a police department, but it is not a police bike model. It is the plain jane of the touring line and doesn't even have a radio. There's no way it's worth $12K, may be $10K, but not 12.
Those interceptor emblems are cheap on E-bay and are not for a bike anyway. Those are Crown vic emblems. Like someone else mentioned, mis-matched wheels, anniversary emblems on the tank, civilian bags, described as a Standard....its a Standard and a little pricey IMHO!!

Agreed about their description, but if you look at the larger picture you will see the PI badges on the bags. It does have a radio (cassette) in fact. The price he is at now is well off what they were asking along with a front 9 spoke.
All said, nothing in writing about a police model just verbal bs
Does it have fuel injection? That was an expensive option. Any other stuff added to the bike mean nothing. The dealer will tell you that up front if you trade a bike in. Any money you put in accessories is lost.
