Like quite a few here, the antenna off my '05 UC disappeared too. I figured some one took it, but I suppose it is just as likely that it may have fallen off. I just put a rubber cap that goes on an automotive vacuum tee on the stud as the radio works fine on only one antenna.
Does anyone know if there is a difference in the left & right side antenna? I have never used the CB on this bike, so the missing antenna may go to that.

The left side antenna is the AM/FM.
The right side is for the CB.
There is a difference in the antennas.

Standing behind the bike the left is the radio the right is CB And yes there is a difference. The CB one is trimmed.
I have the hidden antenna and put a plug on the antenna hole. Since my tour pack already came with an antenna mount, I bought a pair of shorty aluminum antennas from PepBoys (local auto parts franchise) at $6 each and put them on to keep it looking symmetrical.
