Another happy customer of auto part store(s) - Checker always has M1 V-twin in stock & I use my military discount so runs ~$7/qt. Don't really enjoy shopping at "Wally Land" unless I really have to...
Wal-Mart ,the all american store that sells all things Chinese . The only mystery is why anyone buys anything from them .
What the heck ??? The Mobil 1 V-twin I purchased at Walmart indicates it was bottled by Exxon Mobil in the USA... At $7 a quart it better not be "Chineese" oil.
Some of us can find better things to do with the $14 we save on 5 qts at Wally world versus auto parts store than give it to the oil companies. Maybe you enjoy spending extra money for things ($10 a qt at the dealer) but some of us are more careful with our hard earned $$$.
The other reason to buy oil in five-quart jugs is so that you have a way to dispose of the used oil. If you buy it in quarts, what do you do - put a funnel in each quart bottle and carefully drain the used oil into it, trying not to spill it all over the floor?
I change probably 25 gallons of oil a year, between all my bikes, cars, and friends' cars, so it's a lot easier to take the five-quart jugs to my friend with a commercial garage and waste oil furnace.

Last i looked all the food sold at walmart is the same as Food lion , Piggly Wiggly, Krogers.etc....The oil is made in the USA same as Advance or Auto Zone, Next time you are at your auto parts store look carefully at where everything is made that is on their shelves...
Hey BTW..Wal-mart does employ American made people in America... I am not a Pro- Walmart person but they are the 800 lbs gorilla sitting in the middle of the room.

Clerk there told me that that store at least was not going to carry it anymore. Then she said just the previous week she put the last of their stock on sale at 75 cents/quart. I wish I had gone in that day, I would have had a garage full of it.
Same answer I got where I live. So I go to Auto Zone now.
