Er - yes actually. Any I'm neither a Yuppy an H-D new comer or a wanna-be. I knew exactly what I was doing waiting all these years for Harley to fix the damned frame. I never imagined it would take so long especially given how important the touring line is - but I guess it wasn't impacting sales and they got all wrapped up in Softails and then the VRod.

It's better for what I bought it for. I ride my RK as hard as my previous bikes, and the new frame was worth it for me.

Sure, the majority of people who ride them as liesurely touring bikes won't notice the difference. But if there is a clear opportunity for product improvement, why not? Leaving an antequated frame on the bike is a surefire way to lose customers when other companies are stepping in trying to gain market share. Status quo isn't going to get by anymore with Victory and a bunch of jap companies trying to compete with Harley's sales volume. I'm all for it, as 5 years ago my RK choices were a carb'd 88 with a 5 speed. Now I have a 103 that only needs cams to run like a raped ape, with a 6 speed, EFI/cruise/ABS, 180 rear tire, and an excellent frame to boot.

My machine has buried the speedo numerous times and my tires have never had chicken strips, so it's not a "Sunday Driver". I still stand by my previous comment that THIS '05 doesn't wiggle or wobble. I'm not gonna stoop to your level though (duh) and argue about who's machine is better. Mine's a keeper and I have no complaints with it at all.

Shrink, I suspect you are not ridding an Ultra. The Street Glides and Road Glides are not as prone to the wobble...

I have ridden both quite a bit. Rode a 2007 RG from Texas to Sturgis and back in 2008 and Rode a 2009 STrret Glide on the same trip same route this year. Same mountain passes same rider. I'm 6'6" and ride pretty aggressive through the switchbacks. I saw a great deal of difference in handling and the position was very comfortable. Glad I bought the 2009 SG
