....13%!!!!..HOLY-CANUCK!...that would be $5000.00 additional on that bike if someone was paying all cash for it...man...they should at least give you dinner and a movie before that raping....
i kinda fell for the 2011 orange cvo street glide, my dealer has one available. I currently have a 2008 street glide and a 2009 rocker c . the street glide is awesome for me and the Mrs. , and i just love the rocker c for short tripping . I kind of have the best of both worlds. My dealer wanst my bikes as trades as both are mint and good mileages. The CVO here in canada is 39,000 plus 13% taxes.
So short of havin the new toy in the toybox would you give up what i have now? and end up with a CVO that may have a lots of kms on it in a couple years as it will end up as my primary ride? im afraid of losing my shirt down the road.
opinions?
No way would I trade both bikes for 1 new one.I would trade the St.Glide only!!! Go look for a better deal!!!
Gotta separate the wants vs. needs. In your position - keep the two you have b/c the CVO isn't worth this deal. As they always say - dealer comes out smelling like a rose...
That's kinda what I figured. No way would I do that. You could take that 8K and build a monster motor for your street glide, and still have some left over for bling.
Or you could buy wheels for your rocker and do the Heartland conversion and have a killer bar hopper.
Or, just keep your two bikes and bank the 8K. In a couple of years you'll be able to pick up that same CVO SG used with very few miles on it at a discount.

So far all the opinions are Anti-CVOs. I like the 2011 CVO Street Glide.
If I started out all over again right now, I would buy it. But I'm into mine with too many upgrades.
I don't understand people owning 2 bikes myself.
I ride my Street Glide to the bar all the time, no problem. Why do I need a Bar Hopper?
