I would take that 8k and put into the SG and have something nice that there is no chance of anyone rolling up with the same bike. Imho cvo's are just a flat out waste of money, build your glide up, for less and have an original, one of a kind. There is no such thing as a factory custom. just my .02, It's your money.

I know exactly which CVO you are talking about, and it is drop dead gorgeous. If there was any way on earth I could swing it, I'd have it in my garage. Sounds like you have a way......... Your call! I just can't in good conscious think two for one + $8K makes any sense whatsoever. Stay with what you've got, and then add the CVO when your ship rolls in and you hit the lotto.
