I sold a very nice set of "SE Fat Shotz Slip-On Mufflers" in 9 minutes.
I have also been trying to buy a set of "Vance & Hines Monster Rounds" since January, I found a barely used set on here (used for 300 miles) and saved over $250.
I actually sold 2 sets of slip on mufflers this past two weeks (one had just be lying around in the attic) and paid for the Monster Ovals. All right here of HDForums with no sneaky eBay fees.
!!! I love this place !!!

Just be careful. I got ripped off by member Dre424. Haven't heard from the guy in a month. Hopefully paypal will get my money back.
Sorry to hear that Walt, there are ****** everywhere.
I do try and only buy from memebers who are just selling their own personal stuff. I check out their past posts and see if they have a lot of calssified stuff. That would be a warning.
I have been screwed over with eBay. It took a while but I did get my money back though.
I have sold 95% of my used parts on here and bought a few myself. Never an issue. Gotta love it. The only real drawback is dealing with the ones wanting something for nothing.
Indeed! Just sold my OE police saddlebags to a very pleasant member from the Dyna side. Transaction was very smooth with no BS what-so-ever. The gent even writes me after the fact to express how pleased he was. Little things like that add to the positive experience.
Bottom line, you're absolutely correct, this place rocks!
