..... mi2az, forget the misplaced wind, all ya need to understand is that Road Glides are fugly, little children cover their eyes when one rides by, do NOT get a Road Glide just to stand out from the crowd. It's supposed to be a Secret Society. Jus' sayin, ..........

Road Glides will beat the heck out of you. Buy a Bat wing and enjoy the comforts of fitting in. It's a freaking motorcycle your going to get some wind. Which one is best? The one that is ridden and paid for.

I think there is a difference between Good wind and bad wind. When I 1st got my RG the wind was so bad it almost pulled my helmet off,and took my head with it. I played with 5 different shield till I got the Clearview with the recurve. Now the wind rushing by is straight wind,no swirling up and taking my head off, also,I only have to turn my radio up about 1/2 way on the volume, and I can actually hear cars coming up beside me on the freeway. In the winter I use a set of Windvest soft lowers and they cut the wind down to almost nill. But I still get enough to know that I'm on a motorcycle. This is just my two cents.

You get a lot of wind coming up your legs into your face on a road glide.
