I am looking at installing 16" apes on my road king custom. I am leaning towards the Hill Country Customs package but I'm not sure what I want with regards to the pull back in the bars. I like having my arms straight so I don't want them to pull back too far. I am 6 feet tall and have fairly long arms. What does everyone have out there? Hill Country's pull back 8" and I think I would like that better than the wild ones. Any pic's that you might have would be great.

 

Just put HCC 16's on my Road King. The 8" pullback is perfect. Alot of folks say they like the Wild Ones, but at 12" of pullback it feels like holding on to a wheel barrel. That's the reason I passed on the Wild Ones. With the 8" pullback there's no crazy angle to my wrists at all, nice and straight and feel natural. Pullback is one area you don't hear many riders talk about when buying bars but it makes a huge difference in how comfortable they feel.
