Default Ipod Mount??

What are people using to hold their Ipods on the handlebars?

I currently have Sirius on the bike, but I'm all done paying for it in November. If they turn off the service after that, I'm just going to use my Ipod Nano.

So I need a small mount for the Ipod Nano on the left handlebar area.......any ideas or products?

Steve

I used industrial velro and put the nano on the dash. That and a 1 foot cable from Radio Shack cost me about $15. It's worked well for me for over a year.

Ram mount or for a Nano just velcro it.

Default Velcro

I second the velcro Idea!
Read about it on here, and works great.

I just my armband for my Nano and just wrap it around my controls by the master cylinder. It sits perfectly next to my switches, and is at thumbs reach. When I dont want it, I can take it off in about 2 seconds. I ran my aux. cable up the bars and zip-tied it to the other wiring along the bars.

I throw my iPod in the the storage compartment in my lowers.I run thin diameter wire with L -shaped plugs from the HK Stereo down through the plastic housing covering the handlebar clamps and down. It's out of sight and stays dry if it rains.

The problem with most iPod cable is it's way too thick and a lot longer than needed for motorcycle applications.

Another Heavy Duty Velcro on the dash fan. Comes in black and hardly noticeable. I have it located right under the right side of my 3 pouch thing. I can easily put it in the pouch if it rains. I also have a piece of velcro just in front of my seat on the gas tank. Hooked up my ear plugs once, don't think I like that because it blocked out too much surrounding noise. I also have Sirius but on my brothers add on acct and cost about $7 per month. Getting tired of Howard.
