I have an opportunity to purchase a set of Screamin Eagle 65115-98B slip ons for a decent price. Does anyone know if these will fit and work with my stock 2010 classic? Also what these will sound like with my bike?
Thanks in advance!
I tried putting that part number in harley site and nothing comes up. of coarse alot of good number dont come up in the site.
I had some screaming eagle mufflers off my 2003 and put them on my 2009. hooked up the sert and went for a test run. noticed my ve values went down. meaning less air flow into my cylinders. Im guessing the 2003 pipes were not big enough to handle my 103 kit and cams. your 2010 probably has catalyst in header pipes so pipes that old may really kill your performance not to mention make it run even hotter than it does now. I suggest the header from fuel moto. kill 2 birds with one stone. increase exhaust scavaging, reduce heat on motor and leg by getting rid of cat header. change slip ons later if cost of new header sets u back a few bucks. your stock chrome heat shields will fit right over the fuel moto cross over header and still look like stock on the outside

I am running SE 4" Street Performance Slip-ons on my stock 2010 Ultra Classic. The part # is 80732-09. Then look really nice and they get louder over a short period of time. You'll need to purchase a set of tips as well. I bought the up/down/out slash cut tips for mine.
I think they are just right if you're not into the loud thing (not that there is anything wrong with loud). I am adding the Stage 1 air cleaner and download this weekend.
Carefully measure the outside diameter of your pipes and ask buyer (or google) measurement of muffler inlet inside diameter. No idea about the sound other then if they have the EPA stamp should be better then stock but on the mild side.
Im running an older set of pipes on my 09 FLHT, p/n unknown. These pipes are see through with full baffles. I think they are smaller 3.5in vs 4in, but flow more air. Stock pipes are very restrictive.
I have the 65115-10's on my 2011 and they sound really nice. I am not sure but I heard the only difference between the 65115-98b's and the 65115-10's is the epa stamp. If you call Supertrapp they will tell you as they are the ones who make them.

These are the old style SE slipons that they dont sell anymore. They have a very nice rumble when you twist the throttle, I have a set on my Bike and i like them. I dont believe these have a EPA stamp and the EPA made them stop selling these.
I run these pipes on a '88 with stock head pipes and in my opinion nothing sounds better on HD...deep low growl on excelleration, and smooth, low & mellow when cruising.
My friend has them on his '09 Ultra (no cats) and it sounds just as good. You will love these pipes!
MTClassic that was great advice I did call them and they were great! These mufflers would apparently be quieter than the stock 2010/11 mufflers. Although they would work on a 2009 96". This is due to the catalyst on the 2010/11 stock system. This supports what 2009 black pearle said that I will have to change the pipes first and remap.... so much more than I want to spend right now. It will have to wait as I think the docking kit (which I am looking into,) is more important!
Thanks again everyone.
