Hi guys, while in store (7-11) yesterday, talked to this goldwing owner beside me & he let me check his bike almost all of the chrome are made of plastic & Iam suprised that this bike got Airbag on it.
Why does harley dont make our ride w/airbag, that will be awesome.

 

Because nobody would buy it!!

that and most HD riders won't even wear a helmet..... $50
How many will spend a few hundred for an airbag?

Has the deployment of a Gwing airbag saved anyones life???

 

Dunno..can a accidental deployment of the airbag take someones life?

 

Course it can, but that doesn't make it dangerous. Petrol poisons you if you drink it & we still use that.

How would you feel if the MoCo made it standard at no extra cost?

Don't really need an air bag in my face but it will be nice to have side air bag just in case because that's where most people fall off the bike.

 

The response, nobody would buy it is close to true. The list price of a Wing with airbag (one in front of driver, not the one behind the driver)is $1000. more than the next down model yet to get rid of them they have discounted the airbag model to the same price as the step down model just to get rid of them.
