Spoked wheels do look sweet. I have them and love the look plus most of us upgrade for performance and looks anyway so if you like them just buy it. it's chrome on a harley what more could you ask for.
I had the wheels bead blasted and powder coated black, relaced and trued, then cleaned the area where the rubber tube protector would go with 99% alcohol. Next I applied aircraft pressure/fuel tank sealant to eachspoke and the area in between the spokes installed the rubber tube protector on the wet sealant. I pushed the excess sealant out from under the tube protector and smoothed it out evenly around the rim. Then I reamed the hole for the air valve out to .4375 to accept a tubeless air valve.
