Wire spokes standard for 2013?
looking at the new models on the hd website and it looks like spokes are the defacto standard for touring bikes with the aluminum wheels being a $460 upgrade. Interesting change of tactics by hd...

On the site all of the pictures show the spokes, but if you go to the bike builder it still shows the aluminum wheels as standard.
Pretty sure it's still the same....I could be wrong though.

Yep backwards everything I checked had laced wheels as the option. Except for the Road King that only has laced wheels.

False alarm
yup, looked at the standard SG and it shows slotted 5 spoke. Sorry for the false alarm. they switched the order from last year and most of the stock photos show laced so I made a bad assumption

Whichever is the standard or the option... I posted last week when one of the dealers near me got their first shipment of 2013s. All 3 street glides, both Road Glide Customs came with spoked wheels. Non had cast wheels. Sales mgr just shook his head and said "hope my customers want spokes because that's all I got"

I actually had the same question, same reason that the stock photos and the color selector were set to the laced wheels as default. Would be nice if instead of "wheel option" it said "laced wheel option"...

Spokes look great when clean and shiney but I found them to be a maintenance headache. I like life with the aluminum wheels.
