Seat wobble...???

Seat wobble...???

I did some searches and couldn't find anything on this. I bought an 09 that came with the tallboy seat. That seat was just a little too far back for me so i went and bought a stock 09 seat that was lowered by MCC. I put it on the bike last night and it seems to move up and down from side to side. Nothing moving foreward and back just side to side and up and down. Is there a part that i'm missing that was on the stock bike before the tallboy was put on? Never owned a touring bike, only a fatboy and never took that seat off.

Make sure it is not sitting on the taillight module that is just under the middle of the seat. I have had that problem in the past.

Anyone else have any ideas? It seems like the sides are hitting the frame not the middle...

check the front mounting tab, you may have alot of slack. I wrapped mine with a cloth to tighten it up. Helped quite a bit but yours sound looser than mine was.

Or maybe you need the bumper kit, assuming you don't have saddlebag guards? its part # 54395-10.
