Winter mods have begun again!! **PICS**
Are you kidding?? When it dips below 60* at 3:00AM when I'm at work, brrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
Finished up the bars this morning. They are mounted, wired, and everything is working. Wiring the bars wasn't even that hard. Can't see why people always say what a PITA they are. It was a little tight on the TBW side, but I got both looms in with factory sheath. Also got to meet Johnny Vaughn today to pick up my +6 brake lines. Super cool guy with a bad @$$ bike.
Ran into a little problem today. I noticed at full lock, the fairing hits the tank shifter which means when I'm riding, it will hit too. I'm thinking I'm going to have to make a different bracket (horn) to offset the hole where the tank shifter mounts unless I cut the shifter up. Any ideas?

Couldn't you just shorten the horizontal portion of the shifter an inch or so at the pivot point?
Are you going to have some kind of 'over center' setup on the clutch pedal so it will remain disengaged without having to hole it down with your left foot?
An 'old war buddy' of mine has a prosthesis on his left leg and he uses the hand clutch mounted on the tank shift lever.
Very interesting project!! Good workmanship also!!
