Default Winter mods have begun again!! **PICS**

Well I decided I'd start early with the winter mods. Here in SoCal, our winters are very mild so I figured I would get a jump start so I can get out and ride sooner rather than later.

Mods include.........

- Suicide clutch
- Tank shifter
- Wild1 577 in flat black (12.5")
- Hawgwired radio control module
- Powder coat many parts flat black
- Adding cruise control
- +6 Brake lines

I got the left hand controls internally wired and mocked up the bars to see how it feels. Cruise supposed to come today via UPS so I'll start internally wiring them along with the TBW tomorrow.

Got the suicide clutch bracket and tank shifter installed today. All is just mocked up as I have to remove many, many parts to have them powder coated.

Suicide clutch bracket. Haven't ran the clutch cable yet.

Tanks shifter. Had to remove horn and modify the horn bracket. Horn will be relocated later.

I plan on having the bars completed this weekend. Purchasing cruise online is what held me up. I also want to get the clutch cable ran. Hopefully without having to remove my exhaust.

I'm also going to make a trip out to Johnny Vaughn's tomorrow morning to get my +6 brake lines. I initially was going with the black Magnum braided lines and clutch cable, but they could not make the custom clutch cable I needed for the suicide clutch. So I'll just go with what matches plus he's very reasonable and has it in stock.

Not really blacking out. IMO, there's too much going on with the flat black, gloss black, chrome and polished parts. I'm trying to get it mostly to flat black and polished.

Let's see... 50 years ago, toastman would have been a -26 year old.

raidesr4life, looking forward to the finished product.
