I use it. Have done a few short trips with it and found it to be a great asset. It made sure the wife and I could communicate and helped overall awareness when we were riding on a busy highway. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a nine.
It did take a while to line up the speakers so that I could hear well, but that is just trial and error. The one part I don't use is the bluetooth connection to my phone. Who wants to take a call when you are on a ride?
Bought the G4 Powerset (2 paired units) early this summer for our long trip. Manufacturer or dealer pricing was WAY higher than what I paid on eBay for a brand new unopened set - I only paid $325 including shipping to the door for the pair so eBay saved me more than $200.
Function is very good, not perfect, but a lot better than I expected. At highway speeds there is constant wind noise but you just press the A button to turn off the connection. They are VOX so if you want to talk you can just yell at yourself to turn it on, or press the A button again. We rarely leave them on on the highway, just turn it on when we are coming to a turnoff or a point of interest. In town we leave them on all the time, especially if it is a town we don't know already (streets etc), saves a lot of confusion and miscommunication especially if we get seperated at a red light.
Overall they work really well, I am happy with the purchase, money well spent.
I found by taping some tape on the wind or windsheild side of the mic and a thin peice over the speaker side helps the wind problem. not perfect but it doesnt turn it as much
