If I am certain it it going to be a nice day and I am only going on a day trip, unless the temps are cool I prefer to ride without my windshield. However, when I am on a trip the glare is most bothersome, especially at night with the reflection of my dash. I still have the original detachable shield but thinking about the LRS or some gradient styles I have seen on ebay.
One of my other major concerns and this is why I am asking, especially about the LRS is rain coming over the shield onto the back side. Their web site simply states the following:
The flip up is designed to stop buffeting and get the wind higher up and over the rider.
Any input would be greatly appreciated, especially regarding the LRS. I am looking at getting a detachable fairing down the road but in the meantime I have quite a bit of scratches, pits and so forth on my shield.
I took my LRS off specifically because of glare. The "flip up" portion was right in my line of sight and was terrible to try to see through due to glare.
