+1 on the Gerbings jacket liner, gloves and dual controller. I'm gonna pick-up the socks when they come out in Nov.

I and the wife have Harley heated vest. WE each have our own control. We have to newer version with MICRO WIREs. I also have Gerbing heated gloves that that use batteries. good for 180 deg for 2 hours or 8 hours at about 130 ( I think). Charge them ever evening in the cooler months and ready to ride to work in the AM. Also good on the snow blower but thats another story.

I've got the Harley jacket liner and it works great. Keeps me plenty warm when it starts getting cold out.

The current Harley heated stuff is all made by Gerbing including the thermostats. Sometimes you can find a better deal on the Gerbing stuff.

Skip the vest and get a jacket liner. Heated sleeves are a nice. Adding gloves later is much easier, also. Give Gerbings a call. They will custom make the jacket liner to your measurements with no added cost.

Gerbings, they'll tailor one for you if needed.

Get the jacket, G3 gloves and pants if you can. I still use a pair of their socks too on very cold days, they now have insole liners.

Wiring harness....and its a simple 'plug and ride' solution once the
harness is attached to the battery of your bike.

I have to agree with everyone else. The heated gear is the bomb. My wife was sceptical when I ordered the jacket liner and gloves for the both of us. She was very impressed after our ride to eastern Kentucky last week. I ended up going cheap and just bought a single controller for us both. Worked great. It is a Symtec controller (USB port on the side) and I ordered the clothes through the Gerbing discount site. I don't see any defects at all. The liner is the older version but the gloves are micro-wire.
