I have the Gerbling heated vest with battery. The battery option allows you to use the vest away from the motorcycle. You can also get the vest with both batttery and plug in options.
I just purchased the Gerbing liner and gloves I tried on the vest and for a tiny bit more bulk the jacket provided so much coverage.
