Surging On my 08 SG-Help!!!

I need your help: My 08 Street Glide suddenly developed a surge at 2200 RPM's in 3-5 gears which is right where the Tach sits when at a comfortable lope. It never did it before I let the battery run down (yes I left my switch on) It was not completely dead. I jumped her off and put her on the battery tender and she is ok now...but I have this irritating surge between 2K and 22K RPM's. I don't think this is related. but...Mods = V&H slip ons, fuel pack stage 1 mod and XIED's. Can anyone offer up suggestions on why the surge? Could it be the electronic throttle control sensor? Seems when I place the throttle on this spot it surges, almost like a misfiring plug. I have it scheduled to take to the Dealer shop (under warranty) This Friday, but I don't have a lot of confidence in them finding the problem, dealership turns mechanics like a page in a book. Your help is greatly appreciated. Would like to give them some place to start looking, possibly a TSB I am not aware of?

Don't run that low rpm, run between 2500 and 3200

Could also try cleaning the contacts on the TBW plug at the intake. Been known to get dirty and corroded.

I had something like that on my 08, that eventually ended in the limp mode, where the electrical plug behind the Air Cleaner was loose. I would check that cable. I would also check the connection on the ECM.

I am not familiar with that FM system, but can you reload the map?

Have someone qualified check the fuel injector plug wire's. Had a simalar problem and it was a kinked wire that had broken a few strand's in the the wire itself. Injector's work on very low voltage, and any break could cause a problem. It did with mine. I cut out a small section of wire and solderd new piece on and haven't had the problem since. My bike would not miss when on the throttle it was only when cruising at the same rpm's your having a problem at.
