Any help with finding a place to put my 5th wheel for the sturgis rally next year called full throttle they booked already wanna stay kinda close next year will be my first time so I'm looking to have everything planned and organized
I stayed at Katmandu campground this year and it was pretty cool. It's only one exit down from Sturgis...
For 2011 I'm staying at Big Pine Campground in Custer. I found that staying close to Sturgis was not that big of a deal. The parties are in the campgrounds or at the Chip and not downtown Sturgis. Downtown was like Daytona main street... tame with lots of 5.0. Not that I have anything against the Cops. There were really cool to everyone.
The real fun is down in the Black Hills. The riding anyway.
Lots and lots of campgrounds to pick from, don't know if any of them are better than any of the rest of them. Just google and start lookin' how far you wanna stay from Sturgis.

Stayed at Katmandu as well and while the campground was nice and I would stay there again, it was no big deal being close to town. I was not impressed with the night life in town, just a lot of people wondering around aimlessly.
Stayed a night in Keystone and hung out on the main drag having a few drinks and it was a blast.
I stayed at Cottonwood Creek Camp in 08. Nice place and great people. Reasonable prices. They have RV hook-ups. They are about 5-miles north of town out past the Broken Spoke. Not a real rowdy place, but you can get some sleep, which is nice sometimes.
