Do i need the Jagg Anti rotation device

While doing an oil change on my 03 Ultra the Jagg oil filter adapter lossened.....do i need to install the anti rotation device before i add the oil? or can i just reposition the adapter..tighten and add oil... or with it being loose now will the oil leak in that area without the anti rotation devise kit?

Yes, you can but easier with the device. I don't know why they don't include one with the cooler.

I messed around for 2 years without installing the one I had. Finally did it and it's way better and easier to change oil.

Thanks guys.........ordered the gasket replacement kit as well as the anti rotation piece.....will re and re it tomorrow....might as well do it right once and not worry......

Good plan, you won't be sorry. Make sure the large nut is tight.
