I know the forum does NOT like the members bashing their paid sponsors! They spend $500 a month and help make it possible for the members to not have to pay a fee. So quit your whining and start coming up with your own products.
I ordered and received two sets of Brukus MP Saddlebag Secure last Friday. Installed one set on my Son’s ’04 FLHX-SE. The other set went on my own bike. Everything went as it was supposed to go. Quality was good. Installation took all of a half hour for each bike. Here’s the rub!! While at my local NAPA Auto Parts store today picking up ‘stuff’ for an oil & filter change on my truck, I happened to notice a rack of fasteners along one wall. Being curious, I started looking through the nuts & bolts. Now I paid $46.40 for the two sets (includes shipping) from Brukus… NAPA was selling the same stuff for: 5/16” Ford blind nut .24 ea X 4 = .96 5/16”x13/8” SS button head screw .60 ea X 4 = 2.40 5/16” SS lock washer .10 ea X 4 = .40 5/16” SS fender washer .15 ea X 4 = .60 Hex head allen wrench .95 ea X 1 = .95 TOTAL COST $5.21 + local sales tax These are not 'discounted prices'. I talked to the manager of the store and he tells me that if I were buying them in quainities of 100 or more, he would give me a 25% discount! Now I don’t mind a fellow making a little profit on his goods, but 200% + seems a bit out of line to me!!!
Sorry, spoke before hearing both sides

Please read our response on this post before you make a final judgement.
As we state in our response, the parts this buyer saw in the store are not equal to the parts he received in our product. They are all either inferior or flat out different. Our costs do not make a 200% mark-up as this buyer claims.
And please note that we offer a 100% money back guarantee if anyone is not completely satisfied with our products.
If you take the time to read the posts of our other customers on this thread, you will see one after the other of happy, satisfied customers.
Again, please make sure you have all the facts before coming to conclusions.

Who would actually pay to be a member of this or any other harley site? The object is to get enough hits to entice the sponsors to pay and keep the lights on. This site seems to do a good job at that. But I can't imagine paying for it.
OK. First of all, please read our response on this post before you make a final judgement.
As we state in our response, NONE of the parts this buyer saw in the store are equal to the parts he received in our product. They are all either inferior or flat out different.
And for the cost of $46.00, he received TWO sets of our product plus shipping. He paid $19.99 for all he needed to replace his current saddlebag attaching system on his bike. So that is NOT a 900% mark-up. Our costs do not even make a 200% mark-up as this buyer claims.
And please note that we offer a 100% money back guarantee if anyone is not completely satisfied with our products.

I thought I deleted that quote. Hate my computer knowledge, I understand I should read all the threads before spouting off, again, my bad, I am sorry

You did! And I just took off your quote and left our response since I can't seem to delete my posts! hahaha But I kinda feel that response will continue to set things straight. I posted that probably at the same time that you were reading the rest of the posts and posting your correction. We really appreciate your correction, by the way.

Long ago before you became a "free" member of this "free" site, some of us donated our $$$ (money) to this forum to help keep it running until it took off...... If we arn't nice and support our sponsors this could become a pay-per-view.....I doubt it but stranger things have happened........o~`o..................
Noticed several posters took the OP to task about his 04 FLHX. And they are correct. I could be wrong but I believe HD made a FLHX in 1984 for one year only. They started again with it in 06.
