My cruise control on the rkc will not enable and the diagnostic says that the roll off sensor is the last disconnect (code 112). The cruise will sometimes briefly engage, but soon shuts off.
I know I can disconnect the roll-off switch it but what exactly is involved (what kind of a "project") in replacing it? Which parts should I buy/which pieces involved? Is the roll-off sensor fixable or repairable? Seems a waste to buy a new cable for a crappy switch.
Thanks for any info on those that have made the fix before.
I took a closer look at the switch. It does not appear that there is any way to get at it while it is mounted. I guess I will have to pull the cable, and the replacement is just not that expensive at about $30.
